Pyoderma faciale
Pyoderma faciale is the type of acne that affects females mainly belonging to the 20-40 age groups.
Pyoderma faciale is mostly occur on the face, they can appears as both deep and superficial cystic lesions of the face with interconnecting "tunnels" between cysts, reddish inflammation of the skin, and slight swelling of the skin.
Pyoderma faciale rarely persists more than one year or so, and generally Pyoderma faciale is not associated with oily skin.
Cause of Pyoderma faciale
Regions around the cheeks, forehead, and chin are usually most severely affected. The cause of pyoderma faciale is not known.
Treatment of Pyoderma faciale
Some patients are so severely disfigured they may require hospitalization during the early part of treatment. As this condition is rare, it is not certain which is the best medication to use. The following oral medications may help such as Antibiotics, Isotretinoin,
Steroids.
